The M. smegmatis mc2 155 laboratory strain at a concentration of 2 × 106 cfu/mL was treated with different concentrations of the ethyl acetate (a) and methanol (b) extracts. The bacteria were incubated with extracts at 37 ̊ C for 20 h and cell density was determined by measuring absorbance of reduced MTT at 590 nm. The error bars on the graphs indicates the standard deviation from the mean (n = 4). Dunnet’s multiple comparison test was used to compare columns using Graph pad prism 6 software.
