Cordyceps militaris extract induces alteration in the expression of apoptotic proteins. The indicated cell lines were exposed to 0, 125, 250, 500, and 1000 μg/mL Cordyceps militaris extract for 12 h, and the whole-cell protein lysates were harvested and used for western blot analysis for Bcl-xL, Bcl-2, cleaved caspase-9, and caspase-3. Data are presented as means ± standard deviations from triplicate experiments (n = 3) and were normalized to controls and represented as the mean ± SD for three independent experiments (*p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, ***p < 0.001)
